Day 8 — Writer Spotlight: Brice Maiurro

IMG_7444.jpeg

Brice Maiurro (he/him) is a poet and storyteller living in Denver, Colorado. He is the Poetry Editor of Suspect Press and the Editor-In-Chief of South Broadway Ghost Society. He has authored two collections of poetry, Stupid Flowers and Hero Victim Villain. He is the host of the Mutiny Poetry Series, a monthly showcase of poets and a co-founder of Punketry. You can find him at www.maiurro.co.

Brice is the Decameron writer I know the least; he’s close with Shelsea, and I’ve hung out with him a few times at the Voodoo and elsewhere. He’s very active in the literary arts scene around Denver, though, and I was glad to have him join this project when he expressed interest. I think he’s a tremendous poet, and it’s wonderful to have his Metaphysical voice creating fiction for the Decameron! — Nick
